Both political parties are expected to name their candidates for the by-election for Sandys South in the next two days.

The One Bermuda Alliance will hold a press conference today at Somerset Bridge where its candidate for Constituency 33 will be announced.

Meanwhile the Progressive Labour Party, who have traditionally enjoyed strong support in the area are expected to unveil its candidate tomorrow at 11am at Somers Isles Lodge in Sandys.

The Sandys South seat was previously held by independent MP Terry Lister, who won there under the PLP banner in 2012.

The by-election will be held on November 18.
