BCL rises 25.65%
Bermuda Container Line Ltd. (BCL) and KeyTech Ltd. were among the biggest movers on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.
BCL jumped 25.65 percent ($2.45) to $12 with 5,000 shares traded, while KeyTech climbed 13.29 percent ($1.05) to $8.95 as 13,500 shares changed hands.
Staying in the utilities sector, the Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 25 cents (1.63 percent) to $15.05 with 5,000 shares transacted, while, in banking, Butterfield Bank's common shares also dropped 10 cents (2.5 percent) to $3.90 with 44,364 shares traded.
In insurance, Argus Group Holdings Ltd. was up 20 cents (2.32 percent) at $8.80 as 5,150 shares were transacted, with BF&M Ltd. sliding 10 cents (0.63 percent) to $15.70 with 3,290 shares changing hands.
Overall the Index rose 23.61 points (1.12 percent) to 2,095.37 with 76,304 shares worth BD$515,902.30 and 2,000 shares worth US$25,650 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index was also up 26.13 points (2.71 percent) at 936.79.
