Listen to the people
April 8, 2002
Dear Sir,
I have always been first and foremost a staunch supporter of the PLP, with no intention of changing my allegiance in spite of the arrogance that emanates from the PLP from time to time.
The old saying that the pen is mightier than the sword holds much credence, but let's not forget how we express the things that we sometimes say and how they are interpreted.
The latest example of an arrogant attitude is the one directed at the people of St. George's on their concerns about the removal of the Police Station from the old town to Southside, St. David's. In view of the lawlessness that has been taking place in St. George's here of late, this writer from Pembroke fully supports the concerns of the people of St. George's for the Police Station to remain in the town of St. George's.
The people of St. George's have vociferously voiced their concerns which should be seriously addressed and considered.
PLP “Listen” to the people.
