The Bermuda International Business Association competition attracted 280 entries, which took the form of letters to the Minister of Tourism giving ideas on how to revive the industry.

Winners will be announced next week and the grand prize winner will meet Tourism Minister David Allen to discuss his or her ideas.

BIBA local programmes coordinator Nina Jacobs said: "We would like to thank the teachers for encouraging students to participate in this competition.

"The ideas that were submitted were thought provoking, you can tell the students had really sat down and thought about the issues.''
