Wollmann takes a Byte out of opposition

Cecilia Wollmann moved up to tenth place overall at the Youth Olympics

Bermudian sailor Cecilia Wollmann placed herself squarely in the hunt for a podium with a strong day of racing at the Youth Olympic Games this morning.

The 16-year-old nabbed second and fifth-place finishes in the third and fourth races of the 11-race Byte CII regatta to place herself at tenth overall with 52 points.

Wollmann climbed from 23rd after the first two races yesterday and will look to continue her comeback after a disqualification in the second race.

She will be back in action tomorrow with the fifth, sixth, and seventh races of the regatta.
