A 56-year-old Hamilton Parish man was injured after losing control of his cycle and colliding with a tree.The man fractured his shoulder, scratched his leg and needed to be taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The motorcycle received front end damage.

A 56-year-old Hamilton Parish man was injured after losing control of his cycle and colliding with a tree.

The man fractured his shoulder, scratched his leg and needed to be taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The motorcycle received front end damage.

Last night the man was said to be in satisfactory, yet stable condition in the hospital.

Police report the single vehicle collission happened around 9.25 p.m. on Wednesday on Parsons Road in Devonshire.

Inquiries into this incident are underway.
