A Smith’s man received serious leg injuries after a car and motorcycle collided on Saturday evening.

At around 7.15pm police officers responded to a report of a collision at the junction of Montpelier Road and Middle Road in Devonshire.

The spokesman said a 30-year-old Smith’s man was taken to the hospital with a serious leg injury as a result of the collision, while the driver of the car was uninjured. Traffic was diverted to surrounding areas until the traffic collision investigators completed their assessments.

As of yesterday afternoon the Smith’s man remained on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
