International Race Weekend which starts on Friday.

Front Street, between Bermudiana Road and Spurling Hill, will be closed from 6.45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on January 17.

All junctions giving access to Front Street will also be blocked off between these times for the Bank of Butterfield Invitational mile races and a musical display by the Bermuda Regiment Band.

There will be no parking allowed on Front Street between King Street and Spurling's Hill between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. or between Queen Street and Court Street from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, the 10-kilometre race and charity walk starts at Montpelier Road in Devonshire at 10 a.m.

The identical routes run south to Middle Road and then east to Flatts Village.

From there they turn west on North Shore Road, on to Palmetto Road and then south on Frog Lane, finishing at the National Sports Centre.

Middle Road will be closed from Corkscrew Hill to Verdmont Road between 9.55 a.m. and 10.15 a.m. and Montpelier Road will be closed from Parsons Road to Middle Road between 9.30 a.m. and 10.15 a.m. Frog Lane will be closed between Devon Lane and Parsons Road for 90 minutes starting at 9.30 a.m.

There will be no parking from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Frog Lane between Palmetto Road and Parsons Road, on Montpelier Road from Parsons Road to Middle Road or on Gymnasium Road from Frog Lane to Fort Hill.

Parking will also be banned in Flatts between North Shore Road and the Middle Road junction and between Alexandra and Gymnasium Road on Fort Hill Road.

The annual marathon and half marathon take place on Sunday.

There will be two starts for the events near Barr's Bay Park on Front Street.

Slow runners and walkers take off at 7 a.m. while other competitors go at 9 a.m.

The route runs east on Front Street to the North Roundabout and over Trimingham Road to the South Roundabout.

From there it turns east on South Road and heads to Devil's Hole Hill where it turns west to Harrington Sound Road.

It continues west to Flatt's Village and follows the same direction on North Shore Road to Spanish Point Road.

The route then heads south to St. John's Road and continues south to Pitts Bay Road for the finish on Front Street.

Front Street will be closed between Bermudiana Road and Hamilton's eastern boundary from 6.45 a.m. to 7.15 a.m. and from 8.45 a.m. until 9.05 a.m.

And Front Street, from Point Pleasant Road to Court Street, will be closed between 8.45 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Parking will be banned on the north side of Front Street between Bermudiana Road and Parliament Street from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be no parking on Pitts Bay Road between Woodbourne Avenue and Hamilton's western boundary from 4 a.m. to 9.15 a.m. or driving from 6.45 a.m. to 9.05 a.m.
