Gravel ship delivers cargo to St. George's

Weekly call: The <I>Oleander </I>delivered 171 containers to Hamilton this weekend.

Regular cargo vessel Oleander pulled into the Island over the weekend carrying 133 dry containers and 38 refrigerated ones, sailing around 8 a.m. yesterday.

Additionally, its miscellaneous cargo consisted of one mafi, one excavator, one bobcat, one telehandler, four road trailers and 17 cars.

The Bermuda Islander is scheduled to make its weekly arrival to our shores tomorrow at 8 a.m., bringing 114 containers, including 20 refrigerated ones and five flatbed trailers. It will sail on Friday.

Malmnes, arrived Monday in St. George's at 3 p.m. hauling a load of gravel and sand. It's scheduled to leave Bermuda sometime this morning.

Sechen New York will be sailing to the Island today at 8 a.m. to discharge fuel for the Shell oil company, docking at the Oil Docks initially before shifting to Dockyard the next day to discharge diesel. It will sail out on Friday.

Also on Friday, car carrier American Highway is expected to deliver 116 cars and trucks. It will arrive at 8 a.m. and turnaround at 2 p.m.
