Local talent goes on display in pre-Christmas extravaganza
A collaborative group of Bermuda's finest artists/craftspeople and authors will display their products at the fifth annual Home-Grown Alternatives 2000 at the Penno's Wharf cruise ship terminal on Saturday. In total, there will be 17 exhibitors participating in the pre-Christmas extravaganza featuring locally-made products from note cards to pottery and hand-made jewellry. The list of exhibitors include: Craig Jones: Craig's Cedarworks. Bermuda cedar artifacts.
Dale Butler: The Writer's Machine. Historical Bermuda books, historical cards.
Gail and Manuel Palacio: Note cards and prints.
Jonathan Northcott: Perivale Pottery. Wheel-thrown pottery.
Sharon Wilson: Prints and hand-made soaps.
Christine Wellman: OMax Ceramics. Wheel-thrown and hand decorated pottery.
Marty Tatem: Seamist Designs (formerly Brooch Coach). Antique buttons, embellishments and decorations.
Leslie James: Leslie's Ceramics. Christian Ceramics.
Burton Jones: Drawbridge Industries. Bermuda cedar, aromatherapy cedar oils.
Jessica Keriendler and Gillian Ramsdale: Wahoo Designs. Hand-made jewellry and hand-painted silk scarves.
Lynn Morrell: Hand-made jewellry, quilts and papier mache.
Charmaine and Jerry Friday: One Love Designs. T-shirts and decorative tiles.
Helen Daniel: Printmaking, note cards, papier mache and prints.
Rose-Ann Wales: Natural Thoughts. Rice necklaces, hand-made jewellry.

Proceeds go to Bermuda Sea Lion Charity.
