Keep the 100 Day Challenge spirit alive!
Looking for a kickstart to your summer body or motivation to stay active now that the 100 Day Challenge is over? Curves of Bermuda and Avon may have the perfect solution for you.
The companies have teamed up for the world's largest fitness study.
Participants in the study will be asked to complete 12 workouts at Curves over a 30-day period with a minimum of three workouts per week.
Participating in the programme will cost just $30 and includes starting and finishing fitness evaluations, 30 days free on CurvesComplete.com, an online diet and fitness site, and supervised training with a Curves instructor.
The strength training, cardio and stretching programme Curves was founded by Americans Gary and Diane Heavin and now has 10,000 locations in dozens of countries and four million members worldwide.
Curves hopes the survey will prove the programme's effectiveness.
"With so many fitness membership choices, it's imperative that we demonstrate how serious we are about weight loss and an active lifestyle," said Sharon Miller, the owner of Curves Bermuda. "This study allows us to further differentiate ourselves from the competitors.
"And Avon, a company that is so compassionate about women, is the perfect partner for this initiative.
"We encourage Bermuda residents to be a part of this study. What is there to lose, except a few pounds?"
The Exercise and Sports Nutrition Laboratory at Baylor University will be evaluating the research that is gathered in the fitness clubs and analysing the results, which will then be published in various journals.
