The wide racial divide

July 18, 2013Dear Sir,Even though it’s odd how a white man can walk around Bermuda, with a machete or another bladed object, in an area that doesn’t have hedges or other trees but, you get a black man doing this and he gets caught, or a black woman being allowed to drive an illegal car that has four mufflers while the original model only has two. If both individuals are being let off despite both being in the wrong, how racist is that? There’s white people who own super-modified cars/black people who own super-modified cars. Whether it be “2 Hot 2 Handle” or “Great 1”, it doesn’t matter as even black people developed this “Fast & Furious” vibe in them and sadly ‘worshipping’ such vehicles. Does this leave out the white people who, are driving similar vehicles? Hardly! What about the white people who are arrogant about themselves thinking everything they say is right? Sad but true, there’s black people not that far behind in what they say so ... what’s up with that? The problem isn’t the colour of a person’s skin but rather pride. Most businesses are owned by white people and very few are owned by blacks. Blacks aren’t allowed to come up with suggestions unfortunately as, English Sports Shop ought to have more brands (schoolwear section) while Gibbons Co, ought to have more colours (again schoolwear section). If a black person has a good idea how to boost the sales, the white man shuts that idea down in a heartbeat. Even if the idea is worth trying (no guarantee but how would people know if it’s possible if it’s never been done before?).For the English Sports Shop to sell Banner, Zeco/Supacryl in addition to their Charles Kirk schoolwear, it’ll boost up their sales (nope, they’ll rather do it the hard way and hope all buy their schoolwear as is good luck on that one as, not everybody’s going to buy that type and if they do, they’ll probably buy the pullovers which are cheaper in price). Gibbons Company ought to sell more than just navy blue (this idea will also get scrapped even though, selling brown, green, grey, and also burgundy would boost up your sales especially as, there’s companies that sell the same style of sweater overseas). This idea is liable to go down the drain and why’s that?Is it because a black person thought this up and not a white person? It’s like we’re imbeciles and it’s wrong that they have the ideas in front of them and still deny it yet, complain if sales are low (how stupid can a person get?). Private sector: Black-vs-Whites. In the government division, there’s more blacks, working out in the field and stuff than whites and yet, more arguments in meetings. Is this a racial divide or simply a black-vs-black issue? You decide.ANONYMOUSDevonshire
