A 34-year-old man was yesterday accused of sexually assaulting a woman at knifepoint in her car during an incident at Warwick Long Bay on Monday.The charge put to the defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was that he sexually assaulted the female and, in doing so, threatened to use a knife.He was also charged with unlawfully depriving his alleged victim of her personal liberty and unlawfully wounding her in an increased penalty zone.The man was not required to enter pleas as the matter must be dealt with in Supreme Court. The matter was adjourned to July 12 and he was remanded in custody.
