PLP Whip tables good governance motions

The Opposition Progressive Labour Party yesterday tabled two good governance motions for debate.PLP whip Lovitta Foggo gave notice for the first which reads: “As a measure of good governance, this Honourable House believes that all Government Reports, except for matters impacting National Security, should be laid before Parliament within 30 days after receipt by the responsible Ministry.”And Shadow Tourism Minister Wayne Furbert gave notice of another motion seeking the House’s concurrence to the view that “all consultancy contracts over and above $50,000 should be laid before Parliament within 30 days of the signing. ”
