April 24, 2013Dear Sir,Goodbye to Curves. It is with regret that I, and many other women, have to bid farewell to Curves on April 30. It has been great fun exercising with you. It gave an option to many of us — including we “mature” women — for a comfortable place in which to work out. We made many new friends, had some great laughs while getting fit. The camaraderie was great. We only hope that one day, the economy will allow Curves to reopen. Until then, thanks to Leslie — who was there when I started — a real cheerleader and especially Sharon — who was always there with a smile, great attitude, to help us enjoy sweating. Thanks to all of you who were there when Sharon wasn’t (you too Connie!), and ‘Rocky’ who sang and talked to us. It’s been great. Good luck to all!LIBBY MADEIROS
