Hazardous items are now being accepted at the Tynes Bay Waste-to-Energy Facility.Residents are asked to drop off “fluorescent light bulbs, old pesticides, hobby chemicals, outdated medicines or anything else with a hazardous or warning label” at the Devonshire site today and tomorrow between 9am and 4pm.The items will then be sent overseas for safe disposal and recycling if possible.For more information visit www.wastemanagement.gov.bm or call Clarkston Trott on 278-0563.
