Collection times for feeding programme
A church feeding programme will offer meal collection twice a week as the island grapples with the coronavirus crisis.
The Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church said that it had “a responsibility to be a continued light on a hill for those who are seeking help”.
Its feeding programme will open for pick-up only at 5pm on Wednesdays and 3pm on Sundays “to those members in our community who need a warm meal and a friendly face”.
Meals can be collected at 43 King Street, Hamilton, HM 19 — the church next to the first station.
A spokeswoman added: “We would like to thank our volunteers; without their sacrifice and work, this would not be possible.
“As the need is growing, and the numbers are swelling any individuals and corporations that would like the make a donation, please contact Pastor David Steede at theprimeminister@me.com.”
