Nahki Wells and Bradford City were knocked out of the Johnston Paints Trophy by Oldham Athletic last night.Wells started and played more than an hour of the game at Boundary Park but was largely ineffective among a Bradford side that created little.Tom Adeyemi fired Oldham ahead with little more than an hour gone, and Wells was replaced by Ross Hannah shortly after. Oldham doubled their lead through a Shefki Kuqi header with 10 minutes remaining to put the game beyond doubt.Bradford finally created something in the final minute when Jean Yves Mvoto handled the ball inside the box but Craig Fagan’s penalty sailed high over the bar.
