Premier Paula Cox is in London this week, taking part in the annual Overseas Territory Consultative Council (OTCC) meeting.Organised by the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the OTCC allows FCO officials and Ministers from the UK Government to meet with Governments of the British Overseas Territories.Ten of the 14 overseas territories are represented in this year’s meeting, which is expected to focus on the White Paper for the Overseas Territories, due to be issued next spring.Public consultation on the paper is still open until the end of the year, and can be found at http://ukoverseasterritories.readandcomment.com.The Premier is also scheduled to attend a reception for Bermudian Students and Bermudians living in the UK, organised by Bermuda’s London Office.
