Last week The Royal Gazette reported that the Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) were non compliant with the ICC Associate Membership Criteria as it relates to administrative staffing.It was reported that the BCB do not have either a Development Officer and/or two part time Administrative Officers, which is a requirement for Associate Members, when in fact this is not entirely the case.While it is true the BCB do not presently have a Development Officer they still meet the Associate Membership Criteria in this regard as they currently have two full-time administrative officers on their payroll.It must be noted, however, that The Gazette’s request for official clarification on this matter was ignored by the BCB as was indicated in the article.
