BAA coach Maurice Lowe has backed his team to advance to the first round of the FA Cup at the expense of Prospect United when the two teams lock horns tomorrow at BAA Field.The Wanderers have come on in leaps and bounds in the past two seasons and under the guidance of Lowe have made a good start to their First Division season.With his first real test of the campaign in front of him against a side who have been successful in the FA Cup in recent years, Lowe believes his side have what it takes to go to the next round.“At BAA we always back ourselves to do well in any game. Our identity as a club is what we speak of and that won’t change so we will approach this game as any other match,” said Lowe.“We want to put our best foot forward as a team and get the result and advance.“We are mindful of how Prospect will play, we have a young side and have had to play against teams that are bigger and stronger than us, so we have to be careful of how we play each week.“They have had a few good runs in the FA Cup in recent years and they will want to do it again.”BAA currently sit in the middle of the pack in the second tier on nine points after playing five games, while tomorrow’s opponents are on the same amount of points having played two more games.While the side are still coming along in their development as a team and as individuals, the boss is happy with the way that the side are dealing with the game at the moment.“We will back ourselves in this one, it will be a good match and to see how it plays out will be interesting.“The club is growing, it is a long term athletic development for us and in the last two years we have started to put forth the right tools that will improve our players and later on help the club to reach the highest level possible.”Also playing tomorrow will be Hamilton Parish against Somerset Eagles at Wellington Oval while Devonshire Colts travel to White Hill Field to meet Paget.X’Roads host Flanagan’s at Garrison Field and Ireland Rangers make the trek to Bernard Park to take on Young Men’s Social Club.All match begin at 2.30pm.
