A number of flights have been cancelled due to the impact of Hurricane Irene on the East Coast of America, the Bermuda Department of Airport Operations has advised.Today's flights that are cancelled are:AA1443: the American Airlines departure to New York JFK;B61732: the JetBlue service to New York JFK;US1082/83: the US Airways service to and from Washington;FL1812: the Airtran service to Baltimore;CO1660/60: the Continental Airlines service to and from Newark;AA1438: the American Airlines arrival from JFK.Tomorrow's cancellations are:AA1443: the American Airlines service to JFK;DL561/60: the Delta Airlines service to and from Boston;B61731/32: the JetBlue service to and from JFK;US1082/83: the US Airways service to and from Washington;B61703/04: the JetBlue service to and from Washington;US1424/25: the US Airways service to and from Philadelphia;CO1657/60: the Continental Airlines service to and from Newark;AA1438: the American Airlines service to JFK.Meanwhile, two cruise ships scheduled to set sail from New York this weekend for Bermuda, Celebrity's Celebrity Summit and Norwegian's Norwegian Gem, will depart a day behind schedule (on Monday instead of Sunday).And Holland America's Veendam will sail at 2pm on Monday instead of Sunday.Watch this website for further updates
