July 24, 2011Dear Sir,How can a Progressive Labour Party be so “regressive” to cut services to the poor and desperate Bermudians who depend on government on their survival. Bermudians elected the PLP believing they would represent their interest first, not foreigners. Now that we don’t have the UBP to blame, who or which leaders can we hold accountable for the loss of jobs? What is the PLP going to do with the Corporation of Hamilton? Are the city workers joining the union because they see the loss of their jobs? I walk the streets of Hamilton and do not see progress, just more people sleeping in the streets and begging for money. The proposed PLP/USA job corps programme is a training programme and not a make work programme that the Hustle Truck provided. Bring back the Hustle Truck.
