Breaking News: Weekend weather warning
People are being urged to take care on the roads as forecasters predict the Island is set for another stormy weekend.
It is anticipated that tomorrow wind and rain will increase throughout the day and into the evening and that on Sunday the weather will worsen throughout the afternoon and evening.
Minister of Labour, Home Affairs and Housing, David Burch said that “in the interest of public safety” he would encourage all motorists, particularly cyclists, to use “extreme caution” when travelling. The Causeway will be closely monitored by the Police and the Ministry of Works and Engineering.
