A young man was shot on St Monica's Road tonight. The man who has not been named by police, is currently at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital being treated by emergency room staff.

Shots rang out on the street at approximately 7 p.m. tonight. Sniffer dogs and crime scene investigators are currently in front of Ardmels restaurant collecting evidence.
