Breaking News: Men arrested in connection with January shooting

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Pembroke earlier this month.In a statement released this evening, a Police spokesperson said the men were arrested on Tuesday.“On Tuesday, January 19, 2010, Police arrested a 30-year-old Southampton man and a 30-year-old Pembroke man in connection with the shooting which wounded a 21-year-old Pembroke man in the Pembroke Park Lane/St. John's Road, Pembroke area around 7.15 p.m. Sunday, January 10.”
Police have confirmed that one of the men shot in Hamilton on Friday has died.
Further details are expected later today.
The man was one of three people shot outside Place’s Place bar in Dundonald Street at 11 p.m. on Friday.
Police have yet to release the names of any of those involved.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Dundonald and Court streets at that time to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8115.
