Championship golf cost

Dear Sir,

I read with interest about the new Nick Faldo designed golf course being built in Bermuda. I can only hope it will be affordable for the Bermudians who live on your lovely island.

Seeing the work being done at Port Royal I can only assume the greens fees will be rising significantly. As a long time visitor and golfer I wait with apprehension to see what these "new" courses will cost to play.

We have always come to Bermuda for its beauty and its somewhat reasonable costs associated with golf. If these improvements turn out to increase the price of daily golf commersuate with a "Championship" style of golf course, many will not be able to play.

This will apply to Bermudians and visitors alike, unfortunately the Bermudians have no recourse, the visitors however can always go elsewhere on their travels.
