Golf course is lost

Dear Sir,

I just learned of the new fees to be charged for Port Royal golf and I'm not surprised.

However as a long time visitor to your beautiful island, I can say I won't be playing as much golf. At $225 per round the cost is just prohibitive. So instead of playing four to five times when I come, I can see only one round in my future and perhaps an evening round.

This of course means I won't be in the restaurant and bar as much and certainly for the first time in recent memory it makes me think of my options in Florida.

I do however wish you the best of luck in catering to your new market. It's just sad that such a beautiful golf course, that was available to many, has now become a beautiful course for a few.
