Under-13s end their week on high note

Bermuda's Under-13 national cricket team defeated Nevis on Sunday by 19 runs to clinch fourth place in the Under-13 Invitational Cricket Competition held in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Bermuda batted first and posted a very defendable 149 before being bowled out.
Leading the run department was captain Kamau Leverock who top scored with 39 with Tre Manders chipping in with 29.
Taking bowling honours for Nevis was Bervis Burke who took four for 20.
Burke was ably assisted by Kesron Archibald who took two for 19 and Dilano Freeman who claimed two for 23.
In reply, Nevis could only muster 130 before being bowled out in 24.5 overs. Ras Powell was the top scorer with 23, while Burke added 15. Charles Marshall took three-20 for Bermuda.
The Man of the Match Awards went to Ras Powell for Nevis and Tre Manders for Bermuda
The result was a good ending to a very competitive tournament which saw Barbados dethrone champions Trinidad and Tobago by 11 runs, and claim top spot by two points ahead of Trinidad.
Bermuda finished with four wins against Anguilla, a side they bowled out for 42, Montserrat, and both hosts St. Kitts and Nevis while their three losses came at the hands of the sides they finished below; champions Barbados, runners-up Trinidad and Tobago, and third place Dominica.
