The annual Bank of Bermuda's team triathlon, called off on Sunday because of unfavourable weather conditions, will now be run in conjunction with the individual triathlon this coming Sunday.

With no alternative date available for the team event, organiser Neil de Ste. Croix explained yesterday there was no option but to have the two races take place side by side.

That will mean that many of those who intended to compete in both events will now be faced with a choice.

But de Ste. Croix explained that competitors will be able to complete the swim as members of a team and then continue to cycle and run as entrants in the individual race.

Both races will start this Sunday at 8.30 a.m. from Albouy's Point in Hamilton.
