Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. and the Ascendant Group Ltd. proved to be the biggest movers on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.

The publisher dropped 40 cents (3.7 percent) to $10.50, with 2,000 shares traded, while the utilities company was up 25 cents (1.7 percent) at $15.25, as 500 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank also transacted 106,115 shares, but its share price held firm at $5.50, with Bermuda Container Line Ltd. also saw 6,200 shares change hands, however its share value remained the same at $12.

Elsewhere, Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and Watlington Waterworks Ltd. traded 1,000 and 900 shares respectively, while KeyTech Ltd. transacted 40 shares. All of their share prices remained unchanged.

Overall, the Index was up 3.58 points (0.71 percent) at 2,098.95, as 116,755 shares worth BD$526,121 and 2,178 shares worth US$32,616 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was also up 8.34 points (0.88 percent) at 951.09.
