Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. fell 33.33 percent ($2.50) on The Bermuda Stock EXchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 2,000 shares to close at $5.

Also in the banking sector, Butterfield Bank's common shares were up 1.25 percent (five cents) at $4, with 12,675 shares changing hands.

Bermuda Container Line Ltd., meanwhile, rose 16.25 percent ($1.95) to $13.95, as 1,046 shares were transacted.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also increased 1.72 percent (10 cents) to $5.90, with 8,500 shares traded.

The Index, as a whole, slipped 5.6 points (0.27 percent) to 2,104.55, as 24,221 shares worth BD$125,239.50 and 850 shares worth US$9,860 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 7.46 points (0.78 percent) to 942.75.
