Butterfield Bank's common shares continued their good recent form - rising five cents (1.01 percent) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank's shares closed the day at $5, with 22,220 shares traded.

The Index, as a whole, increased by 8.74 points (0.38 percent) to 2,282.14, as 22,220 shares worth BD $11,090 changed hands, and 3,500 US shares worth $37,800 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 1.43 points (0.15 percent) to 905.54.
