Belco falls 50 cents

Utilities and insurance were the busiest sectors on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
Belco Holdings Ltd. fell 50 cents (2.94 percent) to close at $16.50, with 1,624 shares traded.
BF&M Ltd., however, climbed 10 cents (0.58 percent) to $17.20, as 200 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank was the only other trader, with 11,766 shares transacted.
The Index, as a whole, slipped 7.69 points (0.24 percent) to 3,214.85, as 13,590 worth $141,590.50 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index also declined 28.98 points (3.43 percent) to finish the day at 814.28.
