It proved to be a day of losses on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday, with no fewer than three companies seeing their share prices drop.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. fell 45 cents (4.61 percent) to close at $9.30, with 2,321 shares changing hands.

KeyTech Ltd. slid 40 cents (3.84 percent) to $10, as 4,900 shares were transacted.

Butterfield Bank also declined 25 cents (2.56 percent) to $9.75, with 12,955 shares traded.

Other traders included BF&M Ltd. (1,900 shares), Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda (34) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (four).

Overall, the Index fell 71.13 points (2.16 percent) to 3,222.53, with a total of 22,114 shares worth $226,698.10 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, finished up 5.54 points (0.66 percent) at 843.26.
