Argus Group Holdings Ltd. boosted its share price by 50 cents (five percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) on Monday.

The insurer traded 3,500 shares to close at $10.50.

But Belco Holdings Ltd. fell five cents (0.3 percent) to finish at $16.55, with 1,300 shares changing hands.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank (600 shares) and BF&M Ltd. (300), but their share values held firm.

The Index as a whole was up 18.02 points (0.5 percent) at 3,619.73, as 5,700 shares worth $70,827 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 4.69 percent to 820.12.

The BSX was closed yesterday.
