Losses all round

It proved to be a day of big losses on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
In the insurance sector BF&M Ltd. dropped $1.50 (7.5 percent) to close at $18.50, while utilities firm Belco Holdings Ltd. fell 40 cents (1.86 percent) to $21.
BF&M traded 1,400 shares, with Belco seeing 6,103 shares changing hands.
The Index, as a whole, declined 29.06 points (0.64 percent) to 4,537.08, with a total of 7,503 shares worth $155,558.50 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index inched up 0.45 points to finish on 967.8.
