Butterfield Bank boosted its share price by 10 cents (0.67 percent) to close at $14.85 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank also traded 1,000 shares throughout the day.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. was the only other trader, seeing 12,300 shares change hands, but its share price held firm.

Overall the Index rose 17.47 points (0.38 percent) to 4,591.94, with 13,300 shares worth $196,275 being transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 8.83 points (0.89 percent).
