Today in Bermuda's history

In 1942 during the Second World War, Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill visited Bermuda to address Parliament.

In 1946, the First Bermuda Air Agreement (Bermuda 1) began.

In 1982, Premier David Gibbons resigned, and was replaced by John Swan.
