The Department of Education is advising parents that the last day for students in the Bermuda public school system will be June 25 and not June 28 as originally planned.
A spokeswoman said: "The Department of Education would like to inform the public that in an effort to ensure that all schools are prepared for the launch of the Cambridge Curriculum in September, the Board of Education has recommended that all students be released on Friday, June 25, with June 28 being used as an on-site professional development day for all staff.
"For those who have registered your children in the summer camps held by the Department of Youth, Sports and Recreation, all camps will commence Monday, June 28."
