Several Hamilton streets will today be closed for the annual Queen's Birthday Parade.

Albouy's Point will be closed off between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. and starting at 9 a.m., traffic will not be allowed on Front Street between Court Street and Bermudiana Road, or Burnaby Street between Reid and Front Street.

Parking will also be prohibited on those streets between 6 a.m. and 12 noon.

No. 1 Shed car park, along with No. 5 and No. 7 car parks will also be closed, with no parking allowed between 9 a.m. and 12 a.m.

Police may close off other streets or restrict parking during the morning of the parade.

Taxis will be allowed to enter Front Street west form the direction of Pitts Bay Road and park on the North Side of Front Street between Par La Ville Road and Queen Street to pick up passengers and travel up Queen Street.
