Mussenden, Calderon contest BFA top spot
Bermuda Football Association (BFA) elections will be staged tonight night at Young Men's Social Club with affiliates asked to choose between Larry Mussenden and Richard Calderon.
Mussenden is banking on his "strong record" to convince the affiliates that he still the man to bring the six-year strategic plan he put in place to fruition.
Former national team coach Calderon has remained tight-lipped since declaring his intentions to run for the BFA's presidency, but it's believed he has garnered plenty of support during his year-long campaign.
The association will start their Annual General Meeting at 6.30 p.m. and then a secret ballot will be held with representatives from each of the Premier and First Division clubs, the Referees' Association and the Bermuda School Federation each getting a vote.
