Bermuda-based satellite service provider Intelsat Ltd. boosted its revenue by more than $40 million, but made a net loss of $82 million during the third quarter.

The company reported revenue of $584.9 million for this quarter, up from $543.2 million for the same period last year, while its net loss increased from $31.7 million to $82 million over that time.

The company also recorded Intelsat Ltd. EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation and amortisation, of $490.4 million.
