Skipper Ingham was in action at the US Open Karate Championships in Florida, this weekend, finishing third in the men's over 50 event.

The 80year-old competed in the top rated North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) event that seeds four competitors from among its members, and as a non-member Ingham predicted his highest possible finish would be fifth.

Ingham was at the event with his senior student in Bermuda, Gladwin (Roots) Phillips.
