Sorters needed today for Haiti clothing drive
Volunteers are needed today to organise clothing ready for shipment to Haiti.
Following Style Bermuda/Capital G Bank's successful Haiti clothing drive, people are now needed to sort and pack a container full of clothes.
The community donated more than 300 bags and boxes of clothes last Saturday for survivors of the earthquake.
Today's sorting event will take place at SAL in Southampton between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
A spokeswoman said: "Due to the success of the drive we had to source an additional container.
"We will be sorting through the full container of clothes, packing them into 600 shipping boxes and stacking them on the empty container sponsored by Bermuda International Shipping Ltd.
"It is a community service opportunity for students who need hours. The community was extremely supportive for the first sorting day and we would sincerely appreciate their continued support on Saturday."
