A new show of pastels is opening this evening at the Common Ground CafÃ&Copy;.“Pastels and Oil Paintings by Frank Dublinâ€? is a collection of work that shows ordinary folks in their natural habitat.“My aim as an artist is to create art for others to appreciate and enjoy,â€? he said.“Capturing ordinary people interacting with their natural environment draws my special attention and interest because it involves people, culture, places and process.“It’s a customary practice for me to incorporate events of Caribbean and Bermudian cultural heritage in my art.â€?The opening reception is this evening from 5.30 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
