30+ cops flood Flatts to capture suspect

More than 30 Police officers combed the Flatts area yesterday after a 19-year-old Pembroke man attempted to escape arrest.
According to Police spokesperson Dwayne Caines, shortly after 3.30 p.m. Police on patrol noticed the teenager, who Police consider "a person of interest".
When officers tried to arrest him, he overpowered them and ran.
Police units from around the Island arrived in the area to search for the suspect, who was found within 20 minutes.
Mr. Caines said: "I think this sends a clear message that law and order are our highest priority."
