FOR THE RECORD

CORRECTION: An editing mistake led to the front page story on bankrupt lawyers in Saturday's edition of The Royal Gazette incorrectly being changed to contain the word practice throughout where it should have read practise.

A letter in yesterday's newspaper incorrectly stated that President-elect Barack Obama received a majority of white votes in the recent US presidential election. In fact, he received 43 percent of non-Hispanic white votes while John McCain received 55 percent, according to exit polls reported in The New York Times. In 2004, John Kerry received 41 percent of white votes and George W. Bush received 58 percent.
