The Corporation of Hamilton will not be able to pick up "bulk waste" items at this time as maintenance gets underway at the Tynes Bay waste facility,

"We are asking residents and businesses to not put out bulky items as they cannot be collected at this time," said Chief Operating Officer and Secretary to the City of Hamilton, Edward Benevides. "Bulk waste includes items such as mattresses, wood, furniture, etc."

The City of Hamilton will resume bulk waste collection when Tynes Bay begins accepting bulk waste again on July 19 or when the maintenance work is completed.
