Yesterday saw the shares of Bermuda Comercial Bank Ltd. rise by 50 cents (5.25 percent) on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX). The increase led the shares to a closing value of $10.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. didn't fare as well. The shares fell in value 25 cents (1.58 percent) to close the day at $15.55.

BF&M Ltd., Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd. and Belco Holdings Ltd. also traded over the day, but their share prices remained unchanged.

By closing, the BSX had fallen 5.69 points (0.11 percent) to 4,980.41 points on the trading of 38,896 shares. Turnover was $653,595.

The BSX Insurance Index closed down 10.63 points (0.97 percent) to close on 1,079.76.
